edit: finished up the coloring...


by the by, this was inspired by my childhood. i used to love going to this stream with my sisters and skip rocks, jump across them, and try to build bridges to get to the other side :)

Too bad about your teacher, it's his job to help you not sink you. I've had a teacher like that too, whom I didn't want to show my work because I knew he would just make me feel bad about it (he was a very superior personality).

Ooops, I forgot to tell you how lovely I think this is. I've always loved the way you ink and the pace in your comics. And as far as watercolors go I'm a fan - so I hope we'll see at least some more of these!

i should've shown it to someone else, but this was the project i chose to work on in his class. meh.

he even spit on one of my pages. it was by accident, but still, it was nasty.

i don't take what he says too seriously anymore, but he's just kind of put me off finishing this for at least a while. i might pick it up later and finish it. just not now.

i'm not gonna totally give up on this story, but i don't think i want to work on it at the moment either. i just need to take a break from it.
