I NEW the colours would be awesome! not sure how well the background blue works... but it doesn't detract from the character, so I wouldn't worry about it :P

looks a little washed out compare to the grass, :D which has a lovely bold hue!

no it's meant to be washed out:) it's a bit of atmospheric perspective. things get foggier and fainter the further they are from the foreground, which in turn helps the character stand out more.

i thought you thought the my choice of blue was wrong ^^;
