So, I bought the video game for the Wii, but my fiance thinks it's ridiculous that I'm waiting to play it until I've already seen the movie. I think it's a smart thing because it won't ruin the movie for me since you follow the plot in the game. True, there can't be too many surprises especially since I already read the books. But the movies are a completely different experience and I don't want to spoil it for myself.

I know exactly what you mean, though
I'm so looking forward to seeing the movie. I read loads of good reviews! Though, obviously, the movies will never beat the books.

why on earth should that mean that it is not real?"*~

WHY be the same.
I think the key is to only invest time in the good ones and there are really only a few that come out each year. Everything in moderation is always a good idea. Can't wait for Assassin's creed 2 and Drakes Fortune 2!

That being said....you actually don't have anything to show for after listening to music, reading, sex, meditation, napping, walks in the park, sports, etc....these experience are all subjective EXACTLY like video games are.
Each video game has a unique interactive experience that effects us each differently depending on the game and your maturity level. The value of story, music, and interactivity is really hard to define but most video games have ALL THREE in one place. Some are simply amazing works of art. Don't let your retarded friend get you jaded on the value of video games or maybe it's your Mom? Your friend is just retarded....like my old roommate. Moderation is the key. Too much of anything is a bad idea. Just learn to control yourself. And don't be afraid to beat your friend over the head with a frying pan. God I wish I had done that to my roomie while I had the chance! Aww....hind sight....
